Sam’s Club is offering sophomores and juniors enrolled full time at a Hispanic-serving institution (HSI) the chance to win $100,000 to pay for their education. To enter, each team of up to three (3) students will develop a marketing plan where the theme is “Increasing Sam’s Club’s Market Penetration of the Latino Population.”
With the rising costs of education, Sam’s Club is giving students the opportunity to win money for college and build bridges for their communities that will result in substantial savings on household items, cutting-edge technology and other quality products.
A panel of judges will review all submitted plans and the top five (5) plans submitted will receive $20,000 each: $15,000 for the student(s) and $5,000 for the college or university. The program will run from January 3, 2011, to May 14, 2011. The winners will be announced live during DiversityInc’s Gala Awards Dinner
in Washington, D.C., in November 2011.
